Mint Printables
This is a great idea! Mint Printables is a brand new site that has designed a bunch of greeting cards, gift tags, calendars, to-do lists and other stationary, that you can print for free with your own printer. Not only is it completely free, but you'll save a ton of time (no running to the store) and there's no packaging so it's environmentally friendly.

Free Land in the USA
Get a piece of land in any state in the USA for free.. the catch.. it's only 1 square inch =) Still, it would make a fun joke gift for someone or get a piece for yourself just so you can say you are a landowner in New York or whichever state you want. Obviously you can't build or retire on it, but it's all tax free and completely legal.

Nato Freebies
There's a whole stack of free items available at the Nato website including wallcharts, calendars, books, DVDs and even a game testing your knowledge of world flags and capital cities. These look like they could be pretty interesting. Note, not all items are available in all languages, but they have most covered fairly well.
